油桐（Vernicia fordii）油桐是我国四大木本油料树种，桐油是制造环保型涂料的优质原料。油桐生长快，但抗逆性较差，在生长过程中极易遭受病虫害危害，导致油桐林大面积死亡，桐油的产量和品质也受到极大影响，急需通过分子育种技术培育出具有特定抗性的油桐新品种。但是，油桐的遗传转化技术体系尚未建立，油桐的重要基因功能只能在拟南芥、烟草等模式植物中验证，严重制约了油桐的分子育种进程。

该研究首先利用响应面法优化了HPLC-DPPH的条件，并在此条件下筛选出了黄花补血草中7种具有抗氧化作用的化合物。利用HPLC-MS技术鉴定出黄花补血草中具有抗氧化作用的化合物为杨梅酮-3-O-β-D-(6“-O-没食子酰基)-吡喃葡萄糖苷、杨梅素-3-O-葡萄糖苷、杨梅苷、圣草素-7-O-葡萄糖苷、杨梅酮、圣草素和高圣草素。
